I have just installed Admin Tools, but then I get an error saying ERR_TOO_MANY_REDIRECTS both in frontend and backend.
I have then cleared the cookies on the browser, but it does not help. In the configuration.php file $live_site is empty.
I have also tried to disable Admin Tools on the server, but with no change.
Do you know how to solve the problem?

the problem comes from the .htaccess file.
Please replace it with Joomla default one, so you regain access to your website. Then get inside the Htaccess Maker and double check that the option about HSTS is disabled. Save and generate the .htaccess again, it should fix your issue.
