Hi there,

I've installed Admin Tools pro on my Joomla 3 site, and it seems like it's blocking me from adding any superusers.

I did see online that it could be one of the settings in Admin Tools, and I was wondering if you could advise me how to fix this? I want to be able to add superuser accounts from the backend if I need support from any component or plugin developers.

Thanks!

This is the default behaviour.

For temporary super user accounts used in support I recommend against changing this configuration. Instead go to Components, Admin Tools, Temporary Super Users and create a temporary super user account (with a set expiration date and time).

If you really want to create Super Users manually go to Components, Admin Tools, Web Application Firewall, Configure WAF, Hardening Options and set “Disable editing backend users' properties” to No. Remember that this will allow people with temporary Super User access to create additional backend users, including Super Users and Administrators, without your knowledge.
