Hi there,

I've had an email report from Admin Tools:

We would like to notify you that one or more files you asked Admin Tools to monitor for changes have been modified on your site, [cut]. The list of files modified on your site is as follows:

*

I can see the hacking attempt (they have assumed it's a Wp site) but I'm not sure if any files have been changed with what the asterix indicates?

Many thanks,

Dave.

Go to Components, Admin Tools, Web Application Firewall, Configure WAF, Hardening Options.

Look at Monitor these files for changes.

You have an entry with an empty file path. Delete it and click on Save at the toolbar.

Thank-you, that seems to have worked, but I did get:

Field required: Username Field required: Domain name Field required: User   There were errors trying to save the Web Application Firewall's configuration.

Save the page twice and this should go away.

This will be addressed in the next version of Admin Tools. A few things have changed in Joomla regarding how repeatable subform fields are being handled. I had to invent a non-obvious way to catch that and do some form data pre-processing to work around that. Sorry it took so long, it's one of those things that should've been part of core Joomla but very few people have a use case for to make them obvious enough to maintainers to do anything about them. So, working around weird behaviour with even weirder code it is! Same old, same old :)
