Hi,

I have enabled Temp-directory Cleaning option from System - Admin Tools plugin and works fine.

But by default, there is an index.html file inside /www/tmp joomla's folder.

I'm using Git to manage my websites installations, packages and as /www/tmp folder cleaning is done regulary, thanks to System - Admin Tools plugin, so /www/tmp folder is empty.

When I push my folders to git, as /www/tmp folder is empty, it's not pushed.

do you think there is a way to avoid deleting default index.html file or another behavior to solve that?

Thanks

L.

As per your description, Admin Tools works correctly: it removes the files from the temporary directory.

This is a question about using Git, not using Admin Tools.

Unfortunately, we cannot provide a tutorial or support on using Git.

You may want to look up .gitignore and how to use it.

I am closing this ticket as out of scope.
