Admin tools keeps blocking sites because the IP address keeps changing, but only the IPv6 address changes, not the IPv4ddress.

Can I set Admin Tools to only look at the IPv4 address when determining whether or not to block someone. Or is there a better way to use IPv6 addresses?

I have had to turn this off as everyday, I have administrators getting blocked.

Hello,

in this case I'm afraid there's nothing you can do. We're not choosing which IP address to use: it's reported to us by the webserver that is handling your request.

If you have a dynamic IP, the only solution is to setup a DDNS that points back to your dynamic IP, and then tell Admin Tools to not block those domain names. To be honest, that's a very advanced feature, I think the only solution is to disable it.

Thank you Davide,

I have disabled this feature. The interesting thing is that the IPv4 address is not changing, only the IPv6.
