apologies, something went wrong with the ticket.

SEO system is telling me my sites all have www. and non-www. pages i.e. i have 2 pages for every page so it tells me i have duplicate meta data for everything.  I was thinking on akeeba admin tools that i could redirect all to WWW. via Redirect www and non-www addresses - however when i save the .htaccess it then puts back to disabled for that item....I am on siteground and i know there is an option for the SSL traffic to be redirected etc which i think historically this can cause a loop if similar is on via Akeeba AT ....any thoughts to begin with?

Go to Components, Admin Tools for Joomla, .htaccess Maker.

Find the “Redirect www and non-www addresses” setting.

Select the “Redirect non-www to www”.

Click on the “Save & Create .htaccess” button in the toolbar.

If you now see that the “Redirect www and non-www addresses” setting is back to “Do not redirect” please disable SiteGround's SuperCache (or whatever they now call their Varnish cache which doesn't create exceptions for the administration pages, subtly breaking the Joomla administration). Then, retry the steps above.
