I've read your article on upgrading Akeeba Backup from Joomla 3 to Joomla 4, but can't seem to find anything similar for Admin Tools.

When running the upgrade check, these are listed as "Update Information Unavailable":

AkeebaStrapper

And these are listed as "Update Required":

file_fef
Akeeba Backup package
file_fof40
Admin Tools

Do I need to do anything special for Admin Tools?

Use MagicEraser as noted at the last part of https://www.akeeba.com/news/1747-joomla-4-is-around-the-corner.html

AkeebaStrapper is defunct, it can be removed.

file_fef and file_fof40 cannot be removed until after you update to Joomla 4 and complete the migration.

The other two packages, well, Joomla is being stupid. Make sure you have the latest version of Akeeba Backup installed and that the "System - Akeeba extensions version check" plugin is published.

The aforementioned plugin is there to fix Joomla's stupidity in the Pre-update Check. I had reported and explained the problems it would cause thrice in the year preceding Joomla! 4.0/3.10's release (i.e. August 2020 to August 2021). Well, Joomla maintainers should've listened to me.
