Hi, I'm experiencing the following problem.

When I am editing a SP Pagebuilder page in back-end mode (which works) and then want to switch to front-end editor mode I receive a 403 error.

I see the following logging in the blocked request log:

Suspicious Core Parameter      https://gus-productions.com/index.php?option=com_sppagebuilder&view=form&id=2&layout=edit-iframe&Itemid=191&lang=*

                                                  lang=* (in light grey)

In the .htaccess config in admintools I already added

administrator/components/com_sppagebuilder
components/com_sppagebuilder

as per https://www.joomshaper.com/documentation/sp-page-builder/sp-page-builder-4/troubleshooting advise.

But no succes.

Any idea what to do now?

Hello,

currently Admin Tools is blocking legit requests that have the param lang=* in the request, even if they are legit. This will be fixed in the next release, in the meantime you can disable such feature in the WAF Configuration, so you can use the page builder.

Hello,

from Admin Tools control panel, Web Application Firewall, Configure WAF, tab Request Filterin. Here you can find the option "Block Suspicious Core Parameters". Please set it to No and try again.

Hi Davide, Thank you. That solves the problem for now.
Any idea when the next release, in which this is fixed, will be published?

I think we should be able to release a new version next week. In the meantime, if you want, we do have a dev release that should fix this issue: https://www.akeeba.com/download/admin-tools-professional.html

Thank you, I will wait until the next release. A week more should not be a problem, since there is a workaround.
