Emails are not sent by Admin Tools itself. Admin Tools tells Joomla to send an email to such and such recipients based on a configured email template. Joomla then formats the main content as per the email template, and sends the email using the email configuration information found in your site's Global Configuration page, as well as any overrides in the mail template.

Since you were not very clear as what you want to change, I have three replies for you :)

If you are trying to change the recipient (who this email is sent to) go to Components, Admin Tools for Joomla!, Web Application Firewall, Configure WAF, Hardening Options tab, and change the email address in “Email this address on monitored files change”.

If you are trying to change the sender (who this email is sent from) there are two options, as I mentioned earlier.

First, go to System, Global Configuration, Server tab, and check the Mail options in that page.

Then, go to System, Templates, Mail Templates, and search for com_admintools.criticalfiles . You will find two email templates. Edit them, and check if they have any mail connection overrides. Note that these overrides are disabled by default in Joomla. You'd have had to enable them, which is easy to do by accident (it's in the Mail Templates component's Options page).

Hi,

On this fields none of them is [email protected].
Although it seems mails are trying to be sent via [email protected] somewhere on the annjoris.be domain.
That is also what is in the error message.

Have you explicitly set the recipient (“Email this address on monitored files change”) field?

No, the field is empty.

Go to Components, Admin Tools for Joomla!, Web Application Firewall, Configure WAF, Logging & Reporting tab and check the “Email this address on blocked request” field. This is the fallback recipient email address.

However, if your problem is with the SENDER (not the recipient) there is really nothing else I can help you with as our software does not set the sender. The sender is set by Joomla in the places I told you to check. Third party plugins MAY change that. Server settings COULD change that as well.
