As per the title:

Deprecated: trim(): Passing null to parameter #1 ($string) of type string is deprecated in plugins/system/admintools/src/Feature/ProtectAgainstDeactivation.php on line 108

When I deactivate a plugin, the above message briefly pops up and disappears.

While it may be doing no harm, I wanted to check if there's anything I need to do.

Thanks!

This is nothing to worry about. Deprecation notices tell us that something will be removed a long time later (possibly PHP 9.2 or thereabouts, so in at least 3–4 years' time).

That said, it's a good idea restricting the verbosity of PHP messages on production sites. Go to your site's Global Configuration and set Error Reporting to None.

Thanks yes, I spotted it because the error reporting was on for another problem I'm having.  I just thought I was being helpful pointing out the problem which you could fix now :-)
