Hi,

I was going to ask for help, but I sorted (slowly ) things out and only want to suggest to change the documentation.

It is about batch import redirect urls in the database.

In the documentation there are some errors that kept me getting trouble.

First the columns in the spreadsheet need to be exactly the same as in the dbase. (I kept getting an error on importing)

Also, the source and dest columns have to be inverted otherwise it does not work (I use an external url).

Also, the urls imported are not enabled. It took me about 20 min to see this.

Since I wasted rather a lot of time on this (I am far from an expert), maybe you can update your documentation to help other do this same thing.

Thanks!

With the exception of source and dest being documented wrong, I don't see a problem. All other columns have a default value. Is your version of phpMyAdmin unable to import a CSV with just source and dest?

Hi,

indeed, my phpMyAdmin constantly gave me an error.

I did not want to tell you something was wrong (apart from the columns) but just to see if you can adjust the documentation, for others to not waste a lot of time.

Thanks!

Ah! It turns out phpMyAdmin changed the CSV import screen a couple of years ago. It no longer allows partial imports. That's a shame. I will change the docs.
