Good morning,

I am trying to install Matomo on my own hosting, in a subfolder, where my joomla site running admintools is installed.

I get this warning from Matomo: "Could not perform GET request to matomo.php. Try whitelisting this URL from HTTP authentication".

I think I should do something about it in configure WAF - Exceptions, but I miss how.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks!

You were close.

Go to Admin Tools, .htaccess Maker.

Find "Allow direct access, including .php files, to these directories".

Click on the green plus sign (+) button next to it.

In the new row type the name of the folder WITHOUT any leading or trailing slash.

Click on "Save & Create .htaccess" in the toolbar.

Thanks,

I did that already, but still same warning.

It may also due to mod_security enabled on the server but I disabled that too and still no avail.

It's something to do with Matomo, not with Admin Tools.

Thanks.
