Hi there,
Short question;

Is is smart to install admin tools if there might be (hacking) issues with jce, helix etc.

I'm using jce editor pro and recently discovered some issues with my site.
Running mysites.guru audit also mentioned some problems.

Not sure if installing admin tools now is smart.

Hope you could advice me in this scenario and how.

Regards,

Pascal

There's a lot of nuance, not just an unconditional yes/no answer.

No, it won't help your already hacked site not get hacked (it's already hacked), and it won't automatically unhack your site.

Yes, it can help you lock down the site while unhacking it, and possibly with identifying the problem files.

See https://www.akeeba.com/news/1784-what-to-do-after-and-before-your-site-got-hacked.html where I talk about what to do to unhack your site. You will see that I do mention several Admin Tools features that can help you. That's where the “conditionally, yes” part of my response comes from.
