Dear Akeeba Support Team,
We are writing to seek technical assistance regarding an issue with logging into our website's administrator backend.
Since implementing Cloudflare (Free Plan), accessing the backend results in a "504 Gateway Timeout" error. We have confirmed that disabling Admin Tools resolves the issue and allows us to log in normally.
Could you please advise on the recommended configuration or settings in Admin Tools and Cloudflare to resolve this conflict?

Your site is now behind a CDN. Your server only sees the IP address of the CDN, not the IP address of your site's visitors. This means that a number of blocked requests, even from unrelated visitors, now block the entire server.
Fixing this is simple.
Go to your site's Global Configuration page and enable Behind Load Balancer. Save the configuration.
This tells Joomla to trust the IP address carried in the HTTP X-Forwarded-For header which, in your case, is set by CloudFlare. Therefore, Joomla now sees the IP address of your site's visitor. The code behind this core Joomla feature was contributed by us; it was originally created for Admin Tools, exactly for this use case you have here.
