Hello,

I am trying to use the feature: Force HTTPS for these URLs (do not include the domain name)

However, it is still doing http://. My main domain is http://detroitmealplans.com

The two values I have in this field are:
index.php?option=com_chronocontact&Itemid=8
buy-for-$49.html

Is this the correct format? Do I need to enable something else in addition?

You almost got it. Special characters have to be URL-encoded. For example, the dollar sign ($) should be written as the escaped format: %24. The URL would, therefore, be:
index.php?option=com_chronocontact&Itemid=8 
buy-for-%2449.html

If you want a handy URL encoder, you can use my favourite one :)

With your snippet and mine, the redirect still does not work. Even with SEF URLs off.

No, the :, /, & and ? should not be encoded. After you entered the new URL, did you try to create the .htaccess with save and create? Also, I hope that you do not include the domain (http://www.yoursite.com/) part before the URL, right? If this still doesn't work, please PM me Super Admin credentials to your site and the URL you are trying to force HTTPS on so that I can take a look. Thanks!
