Could not open temporary file for ZIP archiver. Please check your temporary directory's permissions! appears when I attempt to do a backup.

I've rebuilt the site carefully and now this.

What does it mean?

How do I correct the problem?

I uninstalled Akeeba pro and installe core and it worked normally.

Hope I haven't done something wrong. Too deep for me.

Always, issues, issues, endless issues.

I want rto get back to real life.

Eventually.

Hi Sagiba,
I'm sorry you were having issues, but I am glad that you were able to get it working. This maybe a bug in just the pro version I will flag this post for Nicholas.

By uninstalling and reinstalling you switched the archiver from ZIP to JPA (the default archiver setting). So, you can reinstall Akeeba Backup Professional, but this time make sure that you have enough disk space.
