#9670 Automatically download backups created from CRON script?

Hi All,

I host many websites - which have now been setup to use a CRON script to automatically create an archive. Is there anyway that something can be setup to automatically downloaded these files onto my desktop PC or NAS drive or similar? This would mean I would not have to FTP onto each website each evening and download the backups to store them off site.

There is and it is called Akeeba Remote Control. Its mission is simple: all you have to do is one click. It will automatically run the backup on an unlimited number of sites, download the backup archives to anywhere on your file system (including mounted remote storage devices, such as NAS) and subsequently delete the archive files from your site. It's completely free to use and you can find it in our download section. Please read its documentation first for extremely important installation instructions.
