I've discovered a conflict between the .htaccess file that is generated by admin tools and sh404SEF's Analytics. specifically, the graph that is generated in sh404SEF does not show. I've experimented with putting in some "allow direct access" overrides, but at this point I'm admittedly shooting in the dark. Any suggestions to help narrow down what refinements to the .htaccess i should make?

I have already documented the way to figure out the exceptions required using Safari / Chrome or Firefox with FireBug. The idea is to use those tools to check the script called by the page and get blocked by the .htaccess Maker feature, then add it to the exceptions list and regenerate the .htaccess file. Take a look at that page I linked you. It's step by step. If you get stuck somewhere, you can always provide me with Super Admin login to your site through a Personal Message (use the same-named link on the top right module box of this page) and I will do it for you.

ok, in the documentation you said "it's as exciting, fancy and fulfilling as the televised CSI work"...you were right! That was cool.

And for the record, to work with sh404SEF, the following directory needs access: temp/sh404sef_analytics.

Thanks!

He he! I am glad you liked my humour in the documentation, albeit I think I went a little overboard there :p I am glad you got it fixed and thank you for the tip regarding the necessary setting.
