When trying to edit an article from the front end I am now unable to save or cancel. I read the nice PDF you put together and this is clearly the culprit.

/includes/js/.javascript.js Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 404 (Not Found)

I have absolutely no idea what that means. There is obviously not a .javascript.js file in that directory.

Thanks,

Most certainly there is no such file in Joomla! and no core component tries to include such a file. I suspect that one of your plugins/modules is misbehaving. You can try disabling plugins and modules until you find the culprit.

I know this is an old topic, but I had this same problem recently. I turned off the "remove all references to joomla" in the WAF and it corrected the problem.
