hey nico,

as you know atp205 and below reset to defualt .htaccess maker particulars when download id's are saved.

I need to change a whole bunch, as in 100+ and not that keen on setting rules again manually :)

so im gonna write a quick mysql script to do it,

are the below its only particulars?

_components->COM_AKEEBA->update_dlid
_components->COM_ADMINTOOLS->downloadid

anything else i should know. Doing it this was shouldnt affect settings. thx mate

Yes, that's it. With Akeeba Backup I don't think you lose any settings when you apply the D/L ID. On Admin Tools, yes it happens :( It seems to be something buried deep inside Joomla! and how it processes hidden fields in the component configuration.
