Has anyone got Ninja RSS Syndicator working on there site?

I have tried to use it all attempts failed until in added
/httpdocs/components/com_ninjarsssyndicator
to the htaccess Exceptions -> Allow direct access, including .php files, to these directories.

I don't like this option so if any one have a better method I would like to know.

Also the links in the RSS feed don't work I have check then and the link is correct but if use external fro the site it returns 'Forbidden You don't have permission to access' I have also used the Joomla RSS Fedd and get the same error.

Best Regards

Can you post some links to the feeds which give you this kind of error? I think that the problem has to do with .htaccess Maker settings, but I'd like to see the URL before jumping to conclusions.

I now have the news feed working by adding /httpdocs/components/com_ninjarsssyndicato to the allow direct access, except, .php files, to these directories.

But I cannot get FeedBurner to read the feed I just get ‘Received HTTP error: "You've got to ask yourself one question: Do I feel lucky?" while fetching source feed.’

If I go into the Security Exception log I find a ‘Site IP Blacklist’
http://www.shireoakleeds.org.uk/index.php?option=com_ninjarsssyndicator&feed_id=2&format=raw

But I cannot find the IP list on my black list.
If I switch off the admin tools plug in feedburner will read the feed without error.

Can you please make any subjection on what to try next.

John

PS
I useful addition to Admin Tools would be the ability to export / import list of IP white / black lists and bad words and the ability to enable / disable items.

Try using phpMyAdmin to clear the contents of your jos_admintools_ipautoban and jos_admintools_log (where jos_ is your database table name prefix). Does that help? If it still throws a 403, you should be able to see the reason in the WAF Log page and paste it here so that I can understand what went wrong.
