Your administrator section asks me for a username and password before I can see the login page. Apparently, you have used the administrator password protection feature of Admin Tools. Besides linking you to that page which also describes how to unset it, I don't know how else can I help you due to lack of adequate information to understand what the problem is.

When posting a support request please remember that I am trying to understand what the problem is with your site, on your host's server without having access to the site. Unless you provide me with enough information so that I can start making even a remote sense of what might be going on, the possibility of having me give you a solution is close to zero. Please give me more information. What does "unable to access" means? Is it the password prompt? Do you get a blank page or an error message after supplying this username and password? Something different? Help me help you :)

Correct me if I am wrong Nicolas but this looks like the Apache login to me?

It is. Read the linked documentation page and you'll see how I concluded that this Admin Tools' feature was used ;)

Hi Nicholas

I was getting a 404 error every time and no login box for either Joomla or admin tools password, but just tried again and still got the error but also got the Admin tools login so all sorted - not sure the cause though

Cheers, Jonny

It's also a standard feature of cPanel, Plesk and other hosting control panel software - they call it directory password protection. Just a side note, in case someone accidentally password protects the wrong directory through the hosting control panel ;)
