I tried admin tools pro 2.1.5 on j15 for the first time (since I have a subscription now :-) Nice tool!

The permission 640 is missing (in the files dropdown list). Since 750 is listed, it would make sense to have 640 for files as well.

Under 99.99% of server setups 0640 is equivalent to 0600 and what you want is 0644 instead.

Trust me I "need" 640, but not a big deal I know how to set permissions with the "find" command.

But if you don't think 640 makes sense, why do you have 750 in the list. Either way add 640 or remove 750 :-)

Well, if you need it, you need it. New dev release on its way right now :)

Lol, thanks!

Wait until a "Hetzner guy" comes. I think Hetzner needs 705/604 ;-)

755/644 works there. Tested on more than one such customer ;)

I am sure that 755/644 works, but it probably creates a security issue at Hetzner :-)

I never used Hetzner, but I read about it in the following topic

https://www.akeebabackup.com/support/forum/akeeba-backup-support/get-at-hetzner-managed-server-access-to-other-domain/50152.html

The following wiki confirms these unusual permissions apparently

http://wiki.hetzner.de/index.php/What_permissions_must_have_my_script_so_that_it_works%3F

Just to clarify, I don't request that you change anything or claim something is wrong, since I am not a Hetzner customer. But if I were, I would certainly look into this :-)

Well, if I were a Hetzner customer I'd look for another host, ideally something with suPHP or -even better- Apache's mod_itk ;)
