Description of my issue:

I 'm currently testing the compliance with php 7.0. I've installed J! 3.5. B2 with akeeba backup pro 4.5.1
I run CLI Cron Task scheduled every day. I've realised, the command won't work with php7

In error log I saw this:
Call to a member function get() on null in /home/xxxxx/public_html/ROOT/libraries/joomla/session/handler/joomla.php on line 70

My question is, is that a problem with cli command or a core problem? I'don't need a answer a.s.a.p, just saying for further testings

Cheers Roger

Please note that our code is PHP 7 compliant since May 2015 (Akeeba Solo was supporting PHP 7 even before PHP 7 started building official betas). As you can see in the error message the problem lies inside Joomla!'s core code, namely the Joomla! session handler. Please file a bug report to Joomla!'s issue tracker. I suspect it affects all CLI scripts.
