Hi i want to transfer my backups with FTP. I use this a lot with no problem at all.

But now on Joomla! 4 i can't get it working:

  • FTP test button is not working.
  • When i try to transfer manual i get: Invalid upload ID specified

Hello,

there is a bug in the Test FTP Connection button, I just fixed it. You will find the solution in the next version.

Regarding the upload error, can you please give me more details? When this happens? At backup time or when you try to upload the package again from the Manage Backups page?

Hi glad you fixed the test bug :-)   I get this error when I try to upload the local backup to the remote storage manually.

What happens at backup time? Do you get any warning while you're trying to upload the archive using FTP?

Can you please attach the log of a backup attempt?

Hi false alarm :-) It's working (i backup to my own server and the portforwarding was not correct so no connection to the server was possible)
