Description of my issue:

How to re-install the Console - Akeeba Backup Plugin to perform automated Cronjobs with Akeeba pro?
I have -by accident - deleted the Plugin (it was installed with a prior version of Akeeba pro on Joomla 3).
It was not being installed with the core and pro installation package.

Extract the Pro package.

There's a file called plg_console_akeebabackup.zip. Install it like any other extension.

Then install the Pro package file once again. This step is required for Joomla to re-establish the fact that the console plugin is part of the package (otherwise the plugin will appear as always out of date and incompatible when you try to update Joomla).
