Description of my issue: Cron backup failed

Hello

After upgrade of my web server to Joomla 4 and last Akeeba version my OVH cron command doesn't work anymore

joomla/cli/akeeba-altbackup.php

this php file is not present anymore in my joomla/cli folder

I can see joomla.php file but i don't know how to adapt it or use it with the backup command described in your help pages, joomla/cli/joomla.php akeeba:backup:take

OVH cron setup page doesn't accept "space" in command line to impossible to add akeeba:backup:take

As i'm not a pro dev or pro web site manager thanks to help me to setup a nez cron command to backup my web site

Regards

You will have to contact OVH support about this. Show them our documentation and ask them exactly how you can run a PHP CLI application which needs to accept command line arguments.

Also note that what we are doing in Akeeba Backup 9 and all of our other Joomla 4 software is very standard. This is the new way Joomla will be supporting CLI scripts, through its CLI application. This is the same way other CMS do it e.g. WP-CLI in WordPress and Drush in Drupal. Joomla CLI, WP-CLI and Drush all use the Symfony Console package, the standard way for PHP developers to make CLI applications. It is a de facto standard in the PHP world. If OVH cannot support a de facto standard which is in use for well over 8 years maybe they should stop pretending they are a host...
