Hi,

As I have a number of websites I need to backup to a remote server I managed it to backup it on my webserver of my Provider (domainfactory) no problem, works great.

But there the space is limited.
So I thought I backup up all my websites to my synology NAS via FTP.
I tried so many settings, but I fail:

- See the screenshot--> Failed to process file /kunden/328155 90419/fuchs-net.de/administrator/components/com akeebabackup/backup/site-fuchs-net.de-20220409-090420utc-BTh6U2NObxboJzgH.ipa
I add the screenshot and the logfile as a zip.

Maybe you have a hint for me where to check/starting looking for my error. That would be great...:-)

Thanks a lot for your help/support and for this akeeba backup!

Use the “Upload to Remote FTP Server (using cURL)” instead of “Upload to Remote FTP Server”. It would appear that the FTP server in DSM 7 (the latest version of Synology's NAS operating system) is not fully compatible with PHP's own implementation of an FTP client which is what we use in “Upload to Remote FTP Server” — or at least it is VERY tricky to set up. The cURL method is much easier to configure since cURL has a better approach of figuring out the default path used by the server when it connects by FTP, making configuration much easier in this case.
