Hello, I installed a new site and noticed this new line in the Admin Tools Exceptions is not in any previous sites I have Akeeba Backup and Admin Tools on.
Allow direct access to these files
administrator/components/com_joomlaupdate/extract.php
Is this something I need to add to all existing sites?
I did not add this. It either came from the upgrade to Admin Tools or install of Akeeba.

that's intended, in newer version of Joomla this replaces the restore.php file that was used previously to update your Joomla installation. Admin Tools will automatically add it to the list of the exclusions so your site will be able to update, otherwise requests to that file will be blocked.
