Hi,

There is no "restore" button in my Manage Backups page toolbar. What should I do?

Select a backup, then click on the Actions button in the toolbar. The Restore button is in there.

Please note that with our Joomla 4 software we are following the Joomla user interface guidelines.

On list pages, buttons which only apply to selected items in a list are under the Actions dropdown button — except for the Edit button. Buttons which navigate you to another page or take an action independent to the selected list items are separate. The filters are no longer all visible all the time. There is a Search box always visible. Everything else is visible only when you click the Filter Options button or when any of the filters in there is non-empty. The sorting interface is a single dropdown instead of having one dropdown for the field and one dropdown for the direction. The number of items per page control is next to the sorting field instead of at the bottom of the list, above the page numbers.

In the various edit pages the Save, Save & Close etc buttons are all grouped under the green Save combo button. The Cancel and Help buttons are separate and so are any buttons performing an action which leaves you on the same page.

This is different to what we were doing before (our interface was based on the Joomla 1.5 / 2.5 interface guidelines) but it's also consistent to how Joomla itself and all of its core extensions work. Overall, it helps your site have a unified logic in its interface.

Hi Nicholas,

Thanks for the info. I certainly did think of first checking an item and then looking in the Actions menu. Yesterday that was not working, but today it is. Not sure what happened. I wonder if there was a cached version prior to my entering the download link.

Seems it's resolved for now, thanks.

Most likely it was a browser caching issue. If you get buttons and dropdowns not working all of a sudden clear your browser's cache and retry: https://clear-my-cache.com
