My client's website has been successfully backing up files via the command line, but after each run, the following is included in the cron output email.

An error has occurred:
fread(): Argument #2 ($length) must be greater than 0

Peak memory usage: 30.07 MB

A different error was displayed when the site was using PHP 7.4, and I had reported that previously in a different ticket. That issue was related to Dropbox.

Is this something to be concerned with or can it be safely ignored?

Cheers,

The upload to Dropbox still fails on your site but there problem is that what I see can only happen if you enabled chunk uploads with a chunk size of 0.

Go to the backend of the site, Components, Akeeba Backup, Configuration, find the Post-processing engine, click on Configure, set the Chunk Size to 10, click on Save & Close.

If you still have a problem I will need the new log file.

Hello Nicholas,

The Chunk Size for the Full Website Backup was listed as 20MB when I reviewed it before changing it to 10MB as recommended.

The next automated backup via the CLI reported the same error.

I have attached the latest log for you to review.

Thanks for your assistance.

Please install and use the following dev release: https://www.akeeba.com/download/akeebapro/8-2-0-dev202209231434-rev31d24756.html

Did that address your issue?

Hello Nicholas,

Installation of the dev version looks to have resolved this issue with Dropbox on my client’s site.
