On a number of sites I am getting a successful backup - hence no point in provide the log --  the post process upload fails. i try re authenticating and am told

Dropbox authentication requires an active subscription on AkeebaBackup.com

You cannot use this feature without an active subscription to our services. Please make sure that you have provided the correct Download ID to Akeeba Backup or Akeeba Solo. Also make sure you have an active subscription to a backup product.

I have an active subscription and an autobackup before updating joomla from 4.2.2 to 4.2.3 yesterday worked and upload to DropBox no problem. The backup I took on 19/9 under Akeeba 9.2.7 worked just fine.

Checking the download keys and they are different to the ones i originally entered.

This is not the only one of my sites site on which I have seen this.

When I put the correct code key in it worked of course.

But i am adamant i did not change the download D to an invalid one.

We do not change the Download Keys at all. Unlike previous versions, it's not even stored in our component's configuration anymore; it's stored in Joomla's #__update_sites and managed entirely through Joomla's Update, Update Site page. We only read what is recorded in Joomla's database. It's possible that another Super User on your site accidentally entered the wrong keys, a third party extension is doing something or you restored to a previous backup which had the old keys.

I am at a loss.. it had happened on a number of sites. I am teh only superuser for all my sites. As I say it worked just fine on 19 September and since then I have updated:

Admin Tools Professional package 7.1.10 7.1.11 Akeeba Backup Professional for Joomla! 4 9.3.0 9.3.2 Template Creator Ck 5.2.2 5.2.4 Joomla Core 4.2.2 4.2.3 Joomlashack Framework 3.5.0 3.6.1 OSMap 5.0.3 5.0.4 Search Extension package 4.0.0 4.0.1-Dev Tooltip GC Install 4.2.6 pkg_search 4.0.0 Uninstall Admin Tools - Fix Permissions — 7.1.11 Admin Tools - Clean Temp Directory — 7.1.11 Admin Tools - Repair & Optimise Tables — 7.1.11

I wont pretend this is perfect but because of issues with sites I try to keep a log of all the changes I make.

but no worry, I have to just put it down to gremlins
