Hello,
Akeeba Backup 8 was using Blade to create the layout files inside the application. After creating it, they were saved in the cache folder to avoid creating them every time. In order to be sure that they would be always up to date, we were asking the server to clear its own OP Cache. It seems that this operation is not permitted by your host, you should get in touch with them and report the issue.
