Akeeba Backup for WordPress

Problem with the Backup Archive name

the guide says:

[PLATFORM_VERSION] This Version of the platform Akeeba Backup is currently running under. This
always returns the current Joomla! version, e.g. 3.10.4

Hello Akeeba,

For WordPress it shows NOT the WP Version, but the used akeeba backup version!

Do you know that or is there a mistake or a trick using akeebabackup for WordPress?

The Joomla Backups shows the correct joomla version of the final JPA Backup file (since 15 years ;-).

Or is it a difference between core and pro?

Best regards
Harald

Hello,

yes you're correct. That's a leftover from Akeeba Solo, where we do not have "a platform" since it could be installed as a standalone in several different places.

Thank you for reporting it, I'm going to fix it right now.
