Hello everybody,

i used to make my backups automatically in J3 - and upload those into Google Drive. That worked fantastiv for me.
Now, under J4! - the configuration seems to be completely different  --  can i do it the same way, still? Whats the trick now?

It's the exact same configuration. The actual configuration settings are defined by the backup engine which is the same across all our backup products: Akeeba Backup 8 for Joomla 3, Akeeba Backup 9 for Joomla 4, Akeeba Backup for WordPress, and Akeeba Solo.

The only difference is in the interface, we removed the "Configure..." button next to the drop-down. This button was confusing, as you had to click on it to see the actual configuration settings of the post-processing engine. It really never did anything more than show/hide the DIV element with the configuration options. We removed that button and made the configuration options always visible.

So, yes, you can absolutely still do the same thing you were doing in Akeeba Backup 8 for Joomla 3, in the exact same way, with the exact same configuration options.
