Hi,

I just finished to upgrade my website from Joomla 3 to Joomla 4.

Everything works fine.

Akeeba Backup is running well manually. I exported all the settings from Joomla 3 to import them in Joomla 4.

I got a problem with the cron. It does not work anymore.

I followed the guide line: https://www.mywebsite.com/index.php?option=com_akeeba&view=Backup&key=mykey (found in Options > Frontend Backup)

Here my cron: https://www.akeeba.com/documentation/akeeba-backup-documentation/automating-your-backup.html

I have a 404 error (Page not found).

Is there something I miss? What should I change?

You are reading the documentation page for the Joomla 3 version of our software.

In Joomla 4, the component name has changed to com_akeebabackup as you can read in https://www.akeeba.com/documentation/akeeba-backup-joomla/automating-your-backup.html#frontend-backup.

If you please, I have a question: how did you end up to the wrong documentation page? Was it a link you followed in our software (if so, where?) or a bookmark you already had? I want to make sure there isn't any forgotten link to an outdated page anywhere in our software which misleads our clients. Thank you in advance for your feedback!

I found the page using a search on Internet. I guess I searched "joomla 4 akkeba backup cron not working anymore" or something around.

But now it works fine. Thank you very much for your help.
