you wrote in a post somewhere below here: 

Yes, you can move to Joomla 4.

FOF and FEF are the backend and frontend libraries we were using before August 2021. These still work in Joomla 4, even though there is no software of ours which will use them. Come August 2023 we are going to publish a final update which will automatically remove them from your site.

 

 

As I had Problems, when i manually removed fof & fef things... my question: 

Can i leave those in my J4 istallations and when you release the update - i will not have to do anything else than updating?

Yes, you can leave them until August. They don't execute as they are libraries. They only take up a bit of space (about 3MiB in total) on your site. Come August they will be auto-uninstalled and that will be it.
