I've used Magic Eraser when upgrading from J 3 to 4 a long time ago. It did not remove Akeeba Strapper then. I now tried with Magic Eraser 1.0.1 before updating from J4.2.9 to 4.3.1. But Akeeba Strapper was still there and the Joomla Precheck complained 😊

I've still updated to J4.3.1 now but I'm thinking - is there another way to remove Akeeba Strapper? Cause it shouldn't be there, right?

Hello,

can you please try to remove it by using Joomla Manage Extensions page? it's not a very big library, it was just a bridge to have enhanced CSS on your website.

Hi Davide,

Thank you! Yes, I think that worked ✅

Magic Eraser has removed everything on most sites before but this Strapper was still there in 5 sites. I uninstalled via Manage Extensions now and got error messages that uninstall failed and manifest file invalid or not found (screenshot) but it still seams to have worked since I now get no result when searching for strapper in Manage Extensions.

Have a great day!
