I am wondering if Akeeba is going stable within the year of my paid support, if i subscibe now.

The beta 1 version is scheduled for release on April 15. That, of course, depends on how successful the testing team is at breaking the current SVN version. :) Historically JoomlaPack/Akeeba have not had long beta periods. The stable release is expected in late May (of this year :D ).
