I have backed up my joomla site (/cms) and have included another folder (/uploads). The backup rund OK and I can see from the log that the additional folder and its files have been included in the backup. If I run the Akeeba eXtract Wizaed it extracts the joomla files OK but how can I extract the additional folder?

Thanks
Trevor

The off-site directories are backed up as a subdirectory inside your archive. The default name is external_files. You will, therefore, find a directory external_files/uploads which you have to manually move to the original, off-site location using your host's File Manager or your favorite FTP client (we strongly suggest FileZilla).
