Since upgrading to pro i now get an error at the end of backups.
They seem to work ok though and show in Administer backup files.

This is what i get:

Any ideas? I've checked all the settings and cant see anything obvious in the user guide.

Hopefully someone has had the same problem and solved it!

In this case the error message isn't any help. Please zip and post your backup log file. That will help get to the bottom of it. :)

Hi Dale,
here is it, i couldnt see any obvious problems noted in the log file.
Thanks

The strange thing about the log is that it looks like it finished successfully. How big is your backup file? There is a 2 Gb size limit for single backup files. After that we need use split archives.

Hi,

the backup is around 400mb they seem to work ok. Shoudl i try removing and reading the component?

dlb
It looks like it finished, but errors and backups don't go well together. I'll ask Nicholas to take a look and see if he can see where the error is coming from.

The backup file is finalized, but the backup process is not. I guess you upgraded from 3.0.a4 or earlier?

The solution is simple. Go to the Configuration page and click on Save. Retry backup, it should work properly :)

This isn't an obvious fix. The truth is that it was caused by a bug in early alpha releases which caused some default configuration values to remain blank. Upgrading wouldn't refresh the profiles until you visited the Configuration page and saved.
