I attempted to use Akeeba to backup and restore my combined Joomla-Magento site, but it proved not possible to restore the Magento database despite the "ignore foreign keys" checkbox being on. Anyone had any success with this, or is the best bet simply to backup and restore the Magento database separately? Anything I could try to fix it? (I get an Ajax time out error message)

Where are you getting the error, on the backup or restore? If it is on the backup, please zip and post your backup log file.

Thought the title made it clear - it is during restore process. Thought it was due to foreign link constraints but it may be something else. I have not tried it on the host server and not sure I should. Unfortunately I could not find any log file - never had reason to look at one before with Akaeeba! (is it possible to have a log file for the restore process?)

Do you have a specific error message displayed during the Magento database restoration?
