Hi!
Anyone who knows how to solve this error message:
Fatal error: Undefined class name 'jsessionstorage' in /var/www/02/30/77/vimpeln.net/www/libraries/joomla/session/session.php on line 108

I would be grateful for all type of tips.

Thanks
Annette

Annette,

That isn't a "normal" error. I need a little more background. Are you getting the error during a backup, during a restore, after a restore?

Hi and thanks for extremely quick respons.

I have developed a site to a customer and now I need to move it from my webhotel to another. So, what I am doing is to install the backup'ed files and database at their backend and this is the result when trying to access the site after.
Maybe this isn't something connected to the backup as such, rather something that is connected to the new webhotel?

Big thanks for your time.

Regards,
Annette

Annette,

I think this is a partial restore. The Joomla! file where that variable is defined was not restored. Kickstart is not very good at reporting errors during the extraction. Move your backup from your web host to the target host again. Make sure you use ftp in binary mode. The binary mode is important. ASCII mode will corrupt your archive, auto mode makes your ftp client guess, so you don't know what you're getting. Redo the installation with kickstart. If that doesn't fix it, I will need your backup archive from where you did the backup to check to see that there were no errors there.

Hi again,
Thanks for your help. I am trying again but now I realise that one problem could be that the site now have one name and after restoring it shall have another name...
This is a problem, right? What do I do?

Can I open the .jpa-document somehow and change?

Best regards,
Annette

dlb
Annette,

The restore process will take care of that. It will prompt you for your new database connection settings and allow you to change the site name, etc. We just need to get you there. :)

Hi again,
Now I have tried again and I was close to success (when I was trying before my misstake was to try to start from wrong root directory.)
Anyhow, this time I came as far as to the start of the restoration progress, after that a message told me that akb_ was still in the sql-file. Which I then changed. Now I get the message in attachement "bild 5.png". When pressing OK anyway, the message I get is as in "bild 6.png".

I have changed all of the akb_ and I have changed the configuration.php-file.

Is this understandable to anyone?

regards, Annette

And here the attachements....

Please use the latest developer's release to backup the original site and retry the restoration procedure.

Important!!!! Do NOT edit the SQL file, do NOT edit the configuration.php file. The installer is supposed to take care of all of that. If in doubt, please read and follow carefullythe restoration instructions in our documentation.
