#8449 Problems with Akeeba Remote Control

I get this message when I try to run a backup wih Remote Control:
"XML-RPC layer error: TResult.GetErrorString - item is not a string"

What to do?

I don't know what this one means. I'll flag it for Nicholas.

This is usually a funky response from the XML-RPC server. Do you get this during site setup or during backup? In the latter case, try a backup. When it fails, left- then right-click on the site's name and click on View Log. Click on Save as Text File. ZIP and attach the file on your next post. Thanks!
