hi

Can not enable the Web services in Backend of joomla so that i can use the Remote Akeeba Control.
I tried to edit the configuration.php when i was logged in my hosting account but when i enable and save it then it turns back to "No".

What may i do so that i can enable the XMLRPC and to use the application Remote Akeeba Control without any problems?

Thanks.

dlb
The file permissions on your configuration.php file may be too tight to be able to edit the file. You can try to change it by editing the file directly with ftp. You need to change the line:
var $xmlrpc_server = '0';
to
var $xmlrpc_server = '1';

hi Dlb,
thanks for you reply. i made that but now i do have another problem. I made all the necessary configuration in the Remote Akeeba Control (Desktop Appilication ). But after all when trying to backup the site i got different screens showing different things, in the end of all i got an Error saying this '' FTP Tranport error ".
i will send you some attactments in here. to see.

P.S. The interesting thing is that they exist on the server and are with status OK . But they are not downloaded on my local PC.

What may i do. Thanks in advance.

Try disabling the Active mode and keep alive in the Remote ftp configuration. Many ftp servers don't like them, they are only used for special circumstances. I can't read the screen shots very well, the forum's "Prev" tag hides part of the information. :)
