Finally figured out how to get the cron job running, but when it runs, it is creating six duplicate backup files with accompanying email notifications. Any ideas what could be causing this to happen? It appears that the backup files are full size backups, as the file size compares to a backup done manually.

Thanks

That's one I haven't heard for a while. The first thing to check is the obvious, that your CRON job is only being called once. This hasn't been reported as a problem on the Akeeba side.

You're right. Did not appear to be an Akeeba problem, just my inexperience with setting up a cron job.

Thanks for the quick reply.

I'm glad you got it figured out. :)
