akeeba backup pro (last rel) -kickstart 3.1.1

It's possible not restore the default akeeba profile in the restoration process ?

in practice: to exclude a selective keys from the sql table of akeeba profiles

or alternatively : possibility of setup a different profile, not the default profile, at startup of the akeeba component

The scenario is this :
a local site and a production site, both with backup profile customization :
1) defaul
2) local
3) production

Now when i do a restore of a full backup in one of two directions... the database change... and the akeeba profile default change too,
so because local and prodution use a different setup for directorys, akeeba loading the default profile turn in error
for dirs permissions...( I know... it's easy to change profile preset with hand but it's not automatic... )

If you exclude the akb_ak_profiles table from your backup, it won't be available during the restore to overwrite the existing table and profiles. I think that will do what you want. :)

nice job ;) thnks

(For backup i have too export the two sites relatives akb_ak_profiles tables in the myphpadmin)

Yes, that will work. I was thinking if you had to really do a restore, you could just reconstruct the configuration.
