Is there a way to do this? My backups have been failing since the site has gone over 2 gigabytes in size. Is there an option to breakup the backups into multiple files? If there is some documentation on this can someone point me in the right direction?

Thank you :)

Sure! :) Go to the Akeeba Configuration screen. Click on the Configure button on the Archiver Engine line. Drag the slider for Part size for split archives all the way to the right, 2 Gb. Save and retry your backup.

Your backup will be split into one or more parts, each part will be a maximum of 2 Gb. You need all the parts together to restore your backup.
