Am unable to find uploaded Akeeba backup files by using the Discover and Import Archives option. I have tried to scan the folder that they are in a I keep getting a message saying that there is no files found. Joomla is installed in a sub-directory.

Thanks

First, make sure that you are uploading the files either to the Output Directory defined in the default backup profile (by default that is administrator/components/com_akeeba/backup) or select the correct directory in the Discover & Import interface. Then, make sure that the permissions of that directory are at least 0755, otherwise PHP will refuse to list the contents of the directory. The files themselves should have at least 0644 permissions, otherwise they can not be read and added to the list of discovered archives.
