Hi Nicholas,

I have attempted 3 times to upgrade to 3.3.3 pro, and each time I get what appears to be a partial install, where everything says OK but when you go to the configuration screen some of the icons dont appear, and the backup never completes.

I have had to roll back to 3.2.7 in order to get a backup working. No log file was produced when I tired to run with 3.3.3. I am happy to run with 3.2.7 for now, but I thought you should know as it seems there might be a problem with the 3.3.3 packaging?

All the best, NickB

Hi Nick,

You are using Joomla! 1.5.9. The minimum requirement for Akeeba Backup is Joomla! 1.5.14 and the current Joomla! 1.5.x version is 1.5.23. Akeeba Backup is not supposed to even install on your site, so I am surprised that 3.2.7 works for you!

I think you should upgrade your site a.s.a.p. Joomla! 1.5.9 has so many known vulnerabilities that it's a small miracle that your site is not already hacked.

Hi Nicholas,

Thanks very much for the prompt response, which helped me to see the blindingly obvious right in front of my nose...

Had reverted to a very old hard backup as the result of some crashes... Forgot to update before applying.

Much obliged!
